I'm Brad Cooper — a creative, design thinker, facilitator and strategist helping product owners and businesses craft unique digital experiences.

I am an artist first, with experience in front-end development, photography, crypto, Web3 and recently NFTs — but especially in design and interaction. I am a generalist with a deep understanding of both the design process and the technology, methods, and processes to support it.

How I Work

I've been working in design for over 20 years and have always had a focus on the user, research and the process of design-thinking. I think you might enjoy how I work.

My Process

What I can offer you

If you don't have a budget to build a UX team, or you don't want the overhead of hiring an agency, I can help get your product off the ground with a clear future vision.

My Services

Open Office Hours

Are you struggling with a project and need some help? Are you a student looking for a critique or help with your portfolio? Feel free to take some of my time and let's chat.

Schedule a Meeting

Brad does great work, on time and on budget. He brings lots of ideas to the table, which means I got a lot more out of the project than I thought was possible.

Portfolio

I've created a lot of deliverables to help through the design process covering everything from Qualitative Interviews, Facilitation, and Strategy Documents to Brand Development, Design Systems, and Visual Design. Here's a collection of some of those things:

From the blog

Every once in a while I get motivated to write some of my thoughts. Of the hundreds of articles I've started to write, some of them actually make it online, like these. I haven't bothered to move over my archive of old blogs (I've run a number over the years) so you'll have to settle for this new stuff. Do I talk about a particular topic? Not really, but I'm hoping you find them interesting, if you do, you can find some more in my blog archive.

Case Studies

If you've never had to write a case study before, I'm envious. It takes a good bit of work - especially since I tend to go really lengthy with my writing. As of today, you'll just have to settle for this one. It's probably a couple more weeks out until I get these other two out. So I hope you really like this first one.

Photography

Yes, you're probably here for other things, but I'm not going to miss out on an opportunity to promote my photography. If you want to know more about how I've been taking and sharing a photo every day for almost 3 years, read my blog - 500 days of photos. Here are some random photos from the last year. If you really like them, maybe you'd consider buying one of my NFTs on OpenSea
